Salsarico is a Latin dance studio that specialises in street and club Latino
style of dancing. Our dance studio teaches Salsa, Merengue and La Rueda
the way it is danced in the streets of Cuba and the Latin night clubs in Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra.

The instructors at Salsarico have many years of experience teaching Latin dancing and
are well known in the Canberra salsa scene. Our dance studio’s objective is to teach our students not only the technical aspects of street Latin dancing but to develop a real passion and connection to the dance itself.
Learning Street and Club Latin dancing is a fun and easy way to meet people.

Our syllabus is based on the knowledge and expertise we have accumulated
from learning with national and international Latino dance instructors. Our syllabus is designed to include simple and progressively more complicated moves and routines from beginners to advance level. Experience in street Latin dancing is not required and you
don’t need to bring a dance partner, just bring yourself.

Our dance classes are structured to incorporate the social aspect of the dance.
At the end of each class we will give you enough time to practice what you
learned by dancing with other classmates.

In our dance studio we encourage people to rotate dance partner regularly
to give them the opportunity to dance and laugh with many partners, however
it is not compulsory to rotate.
